NPS Customer Input Help Page

The National Payment Services input page was designed to help our customers and their employees manually and easily input checks to us for processing via the internet. It has many built in features which are designed to expedite your day to day operations. If there is something it does not do, feel free to let us know.

Last Name and Amount Entered.

Defaults to "none", then displays the last transaction entered thereafter. Anyone who has every done data entry knows this is always helpful when you have a endless stack of checks in front of you.

Target Date

Enter the date you wish us to debit the account. Leaving the box blank will default to the soonest banking day.

Auto NSF Fee

This is the amount of the insuffient funds fee, or a merchant fee. This amount will be debit from your customer if the face value goes through.

Payee

This is the person or company to paid. Most often it's YOU.

Entry Description

Redeposited Check - A redeposit of the face amount of the check, using a signature as authorization.

Merchant Fee - Separate transaction for the service fee of an NSF check.

NSF Check Plus Fee - Use this transaction type when you have authorization to collect the nsf check and fee as a single transaction.

Phone Payment - Telephone auto payment for anything that the account holder authorizes. Could include one or more bad checks and/or service fees, full or partial payment of some other debt, or any other amount.

Payment - Anything that's not one of the above.

Bank Routing Number

Must be a actual 9 digit route code to a bank.

Bank Account Number

It's hard to make money if you make typos in this field

Check Number

Required for redeposited checks and merchant fees. For all other payments, make up or use a number internal to your company.

Amount

Self-explanatory, how much money you want to make this time around!

Name

Name of the account holder.

Account ID

Your internal account number for this customer.
